SESSION UPDATE
1. Annual budget for 2012 approved 1-24-12; Congregational meeting
Sunday, February 12 following service to present Committee Heads, and Deacons will give review of 2011.
2. Ash Wednesday service with communion Feb. 22 at 7 pm.
3. Good Friday Ecumenical service at noon here on April 6.
4. Grace Preparatory Academy, a Christian Middle and High School has submitted a request to use some of our facilities for the 2012 - 2013 school year. Team Facilities is researching.
5. Pastor Dale has completed two orientations for the P.N.C.
6. Church officer training was held Jan. 14, 2012 from 9 - 4.
7. Pastor Dale hosted the Ecumenical Pastor's Group Jan. 17, 2012.
8. Pastor Dale attended a Fellowship Gathering in FL Jan. 18 & 19.
9. Pastor Dale will be home in CA Jan. 29 - Feb. 4, 2012.
10. Heather Lundquist was approved to be 2012 Elder Commissioner.
11. FPC Durango will support an American Cancer Society Relay for Life team for July 13, 2012.
12. Stewardship and Mission proposes three fund raisers:1) a Mission Dinner & Auction to support an international or local mission; 2) supporting the River Run for Orphans again; and 3) a pie auction to help Deacon funds for member needs
13. Dr. Mangrum was notified that he had 30 days to remove the rest of his books and personal items from our church.
