Dear Church Family,

I want to introduce the concert events that will happen when I’m away on sabbatical this summer.

Grace and Peace,

Beau

Bailey Barnes is a singer, voice teacher and music business coach living in Durango, CO. Throughout her life she has been a student and teacher of many different disciplines and her education and experience run deep and wide. In 2010 she earned a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Northern Colorado, and since then she has formally studied classical, jazz, and musical theater vocal technique and pedagogy with various teachers. For the last decade she has designed and implemented vocal music education programs in public schools and non-profit organizations across the state, helping hundreds of students young and old step into their power as legitimate musical artists.

She gigs regularly with her jazz duo, Sounds True, and as a solo artist at venues throughout the Southwest. She does theatrical and classical singing with Fort Lewis College, 3rd Avenue Arts and in self-produced concerts with musical collaborators in the area. She lives with her husband and two pets in a tiny home along the Animas River. You can find more on Bailey here at www.baileybarnessoprano.com.

Bailey Barnes Jazz Quintet will be offering a concert on Tuesday, July 19th at 6:30pm

“The best, most beautiful, and most perfect way that we have of expressing a sweet concord of mind to each other is by music.”

Jonathan Edwards Pastor, Philosopher, Revivalist

Joshua Price We’re so excited to have Joshua back with us! In the Fall of 2018 Joshua retreated here in Durango to work on some new songs. Through his connection with the John and Betsy Kastak we were introduced to Josh and his music. This August Josh will be preaching and teaching, but the real exciting news is that he’ll also be offering a concert!!!!

Josh is currently the Gather Pastor at Rivertree Church in Huntsville Alabama. He is a teacher, worship leader and singer-songwriter. He and his wife, Deanna, and daughter, Elzie, travel 12 weeks of the year to partner with ministries all over the globe.

Joshua has been in vocational ministry for 18 years. He has a heart to see people come to know Christ and to see the Church grow in love for the Lord and others. Joshua believes that music has a way of unlocking the depths of our hearts in a unique way. His songs are scripturally based and poignantly written for the modern church.
You can find more on Josh here at www.joshuapricemusic.com.

Be sure to join us on Friday, August 26th at 6PM.
