Remember: Prayer is POWERFUL and WORKS!

The prayer requests for Sunday, February 28

10:01:39           From John and Ulys Gardella: Good morning church family. We hope all are safe, healthy, vigilant, and prayerful. Prayers for all our church and governmental leaders; for wisdom, discernment, ethics, moral conviction, and courage in doing God’s will; for a spiritual, moral and biblical revival throughout our churches, community and nation; prayers of comfort and healing for the Bishops dealing with the aging process; for Penni Compton as she deals with her reoccurring back and leg pain. Prayers for our caregivers, for all our children, for those dealing with depression and difficulties with marriage relationships; and for moisture throughout our land and for the financial strength of our churches.

10:17:34           From Bill & Jan Postler: Happy Birthday prayers for Gary Scott! Prayers for Bob Bryant’s cancer treatments and insurance. Prayers for Jerry & Vickie Hickman’s transition after their move to Dove Creek.

10:21:44           From Ginny Miller-Cavanagh: Prayers for healing and restoration of good health for Christie Pollard, Cynthia Ostermick, Sandy Zink, Gordon Clouser and Lori Gottschalk (Suzi Loether’s mom) who is able to return home after many transfusions over the last couple of weeks. Prayers for those we have loved who have passed on. For me, I pray for my 14-month-old son who died 45 years ago today and my best friend, Sandy Foster, who died 2/23/05.

10:38:29           From Cathy Jones: Please pray for our granddaughter in the aftermath of her tubal pregnancy.

10:40:01           From Jon Powell: My brother’s friend Jim who died from Covid-19 while on a sailing trip to Baja California in Mexico.

10:41:45           From Kent Norgren: Continued prayers for Chuck, my daughter-in-law Kristin’s dad, who is in a rehab facility in Jacksonville.  Chuck bounces back and forth between a ventilator and trying to breath on his own and needs more strength and healing after 3 months of COVID.

10:42:51           From Kristin Smith: Prayers for Robert Mestas, a young man still in the ICU with Covid on a ventilator. Praises that he has improved since last week and that there is hope that they might wake him up soon. Prayers for his caregiver Jennifer as she also is still battling Covid.

10:44:00           From Barb Conn: Prayers and thanks for Cyndy Ostermick’s successful 8-hour brain surgery on 2/24.  She was hopeful that she might be released late yesterday afternoon. Continue your prayers for a complete recovery for Cyndy. Praises for a miracle. Asking prayers for Emil Martinez in Tucson, son-in-law of Joe and Mary Colgan is at home after 72 days in the hospital and rehab for COVID.  He is recovering and making wonderful strides.  It will be a long recovery so continue your prayers.

10:45:30           From Cheryl Clay: Gratitude for vaccinations.

10:54:58           From Steve Parker and Geni Miller: Good Morning, everyone! Bless the caregivers and first responders.  Continued blessing for moisture. Thanksgiving for the great music from everyone this morning.
