Dear Church Family,
This week we’re continuing to explore what Becoming Ourselves looks like during advent. In taking another look at a section of John’s prologue we read that “Jesus came to his own but they did not recognize him.” There’s nothing worse than feeling “unknown,” and no greater feeling than feeling like we’re known. At Christ’s arrival at Christmas God knows and and identifies with us in a whole new way. This opens up doors to us to not only know God better through Jesus but to know and be known by each other. What a gift! I can’t wait to talk about it more on Sunday!
Grace and Peace,
