Newcomb Mission Project
The Mission Committee has set the date for our next work day with our friends on the Navajo Reservation in Newcomb, NM: Saturday, June 3. We’ll be installing a new front door for their church and painting the exterior of the building. We need door installers; painters (everyone can paint!); and folks to plan, prepare, and serve lunch . . . and clean up afterward. As always our purpose is as much fellowship with our Navajo brothers and sisters as the work itself. We’ll leave Durango (carpooling) around 8:00 a.m. and return home around 6:30 p.m.
