Geni and I have been been volunteering at Mesa Verde for several years now. We are putting in an application to take a limited POPs group into one of the Back Country sites. The one we have asked for has not yet been approved as we have not officially turned in our request. That will happen this coming week. We will be out of touch after 5/13 until 6/3 and we expect to get approval while we are away. Whatever we end up with for an adventure, it will be a treat. Probably about 2-3 miles will be the total. We can only take 10 others besides Geni and Me. No dogs will be allowed as there are no dogs on backcountry trails.
