First POPS hike of 2023

Come join your friends with POPS (Presbyterian Outdoor Pursuits) for an early spring hike in Sand Canyon on April 8, the day before Easter. Sand Canyon is one of our favorite early spring or late fall hikes. We expect a warm day with no snow on the trail since Sand Canyon is 60 miles west of Durango at a lower elevation. Many Ancestral Pueblo sites can be seen along the trail. We plan hike of about 4 miles but we can break into smaller groups if some want to go a shorter or longer distance.
