Post-Secondary Scholarships Available

Team Christian Formation is pleased again to offer scholarships to our post-secondary students. We ask potential candidates to be familiar with the scholarship guidelines and to confirm they are eligible candidates. Copies of the guidelines and applications are available from Geni Miller. FPCD Post-Secondary Scholarship Guidelines

A. Candidates for FPCD Post-Secondary Scholarships include:

1. Member or friend (non-member) of FPCD who is currently active in the church.

2. Child of member of friend (non-member) of FPCD currently active in the church.

3. Current FPCD staff member.

4. Child of current FPCD staff member.

5. Applicant who has been active in FPCD within the last 3 years, regardless of their parent’s church affiliation.

6. Applicant who meets these guidelines, regardless of age, may request scholarship funds for post-secondary study, including undergraduate, graduate or vocational training.

B. In addition to completing the application form the applicant will submit a resume which describes:

1. Their educational objectives.

2. Their scholastic achievement.

3. Their statement of faith/description of faith journey and their faith application (church involvement, outreach and mission experiences and future desires).

4. Community involvement.

C. A recipient and his or her family are requested to be present for recognition of scholarship recipients in worship on the designated Sunday in mid to late May.

D. A student may receive up to 4 total post-secondary scholarships.
