For PASTOR APPRECIATION we are planning a SPECIAL HOMEMADE PIE RECEPTION.
When? November 1 (come to church an hour later – daylight saving time ends) **** Mark your calendars!!****
Why? To honor John Welton as our Pastor for the last 2+ years
John is still pushing cans for the Food Bank and smiling, joining in the father’s work in Durango: Manna’s Soup Kitchen, Habitat for Humanity Build, POPs, visiting the sick and/or in need, winning at trivia and fully engaging in the life of First Presbyterian Church Durango.
What? We will have a money tree available and a basket for cards on 11/1.
Pies? Offer made by Judy Norton, who has made hundreds of homemade pies for fundraisers. She’s a pro. Yum!
Until then? Baskets will be available for cards starting October 18
