Letter from Pastor John Welton

Dear Members and Friends,

This Sunday is Reformation Sunday! A time we celebrate the church transforming and getting back to the original word and worship. We will have more traditional hymns. We will also take a look at how the Spirit can reform our church and lives. This week we will conclude our series on “being at our worst and at our best”. We will hear the story of the “Road to Damascus”. Saul the young zealous persecutor of the church encounters a vision of Christ. It changes his life and circumstance. It has become a cultural touchstone and by word for change in life. We will also hear the story of Ananias, one of the disciples that Saul was coming to do violence.  How he too had a vision to help this young lost soul. Where Christ disclosed his plans of transformation of Paul from the greatest persecutor to the most stalwart and courageous evangelist!

Join us this week!

Peace,

Pastor John Welton
