Letter from Pastor John Welton

Dear Members and Friends,

This Sunday, we will look at John 4. This is the longest discourse between Jesus as an individual. That person is the Samaritan woman at the well.

Wait, didn’t we just talk about that encounter 6 months ago? Yes, Courtland Hopkins preached on this text in August. But did I mention it is the longest discourse in the fourth gospel! We will look at the response of the apostles and the Samaritans after Jesus speaks with the women at the well. We will see the first people spread the word of Jesus as the messiah. We will also see the disciples and their response to the teachings of Jesus.  

In addition to the sermon this Sunday, we will formally welcome our new leaders and encourage them to join in the father’s work. See you this Sunday.
