Happy Summer (Almost).  Please plan on joining our intrepid group of Adventurers to view WildFlowers on the trail up Engineer.  Please plan on Meeting the in town group at FPC and carpool to Coal Bank Pass at 8:30 AM.  Geni and I will be at FPC at 8:30 as our co leaders (Jones & Jones) will be entertaining a substantial family member group.  We will drive to the top of Coal Bank Pass and start up the trail.  There is some debate about the vitality of the flowers this year due to the drought as well as a few reports of snow under the trees.  My most recent report was over a week ago and it indicated that the trail was clearing and flowers were starting to pop.  Bring rain gear, water and snacks/lunches.  The full hike can take 3 hours RT.  We will likely have more than one group of hikers.  I pulled one of my hamstrings in April and reinjured it on our last hike.  I am doing much better, but I will need to take  it slow.  If anyone wants to hang out with me, I will appreciate the company.  I am also going to take a folding chair so I can retreat to my vehicle and read, if necessary.

Have a Great Day!
